yeah, its called a phantom gear. I tried it for a while but it ended up just making more drivetrain-noise for me. Since I have a 1/8" chain and the cog was a 3/32" it had some play and moved side to side a lil and caught the side plates occasionally. I saw alot of people in the dj comp at otter with phantom gears. I really didnt need it anyhoo, I have horizontals :18: ...... and so do you? lol you already have a chain tensioner too.
