quit lurkin

im curious how many people actually come, check the site, see there are no new threads, then go on their merry way

in other words, how many people are still checking this site

im asking cause i want sort of a real number to put to how dead or alive msdhw is, cause if i know that i can figure what the problem is, whether its lack of people or lack of stuff to talk about or lack of community or lack of social skills

cause then i can pretend to find a solution

Downhill racing is not an extreme sport.

unless youre into that sorta thing...

I check out the site every 1 or 2 days. I think the best way for people to start posting stuff is by posting pictures and videos.

Ok, I'll admit I've been lurking, mostly though because of burnout posting on another online (vehicle) forum full of asshats and trolls. (*Not Ih8..)

Maybe if some of us were to put as much energy back into this spot that we've dedicated elsewhere things will pick up.

I know I'm over this broadbased "crap" I'm seeing everywhere. Things like the aforementioned asshats and trolls used to be here also, now that that elements gone, it would be an appropriate time to rebuild so to speak. Who wants to post somewhere where your intelligence, experience, or what you ate last night and crapped out this morning are the replies to legitimate posts and replies, right?

What can be done here to keep the focus, public draw, and need to exist happen?

Some of us have backed out of the main purpose of the site, and changed our riding habits, that being said, i'd like to believe as to my part, there's still something to contribute, be it Specialty/Singlespeed, or tech/repair stuff.

This would be the time where Ivan should consider getting all of the folks he trusts opinion wise and putting it to them to fix this. I've already chatted with him, and i'm sure he's also talked with some of you.

What say, let's do this??

im not sure ivan trusts me, i used to be, as you put it, an ass hat on here

but im all for a rebuild of the site, ill even head the Colorado chapter or something, if we can find some msdhw stuff ill plaster the town in stickers or wear t shirts or something, see if i can get The Fix to give us some exposure

and really, for all the ribbing i give to the spandex crowd/ the marzocchi crowd, i dont really care that much, its all riding, dont be afraid to post stuff that may be on flat ground... or even... uphill:15:
