Icky weather is going to make it hard to ride

This totally sucks...it does not look like the weather is going to clear up for the next week or so which means riding on trails is somewhat out of the question. I am thinking there needs to be at least a day of shine before the dirt on the trails are even firm/packed enough to handle the abuse of our tires. Hope there is a turn in the storm movement so it will bring sun light back to the Bay Area. Hope I can put some use in my rig while it is up here but I really doubt any high flying riding if the weather persist. Just wanted to vent because this sorta weather does not exist in Socal. :roll: -mm

I believe all of the Bay Area got hit by this past Saturday's storm. Is it still wet in the San Mateo/Pacifica area?

Skies cleared up last night... nothing but sea of cool blue air in Sonoma!

sorry to hear you got the sled but no place to play. :( Do you have both bikes with you? I think I got a new job which is screwing me for going out to play. How long are you here for? I am booked it looks like till Sunday but that could change? Give me the details. Urban for sure if we were to hook up.

Hey Dog,

Glad that you found a new job. Hope we could ride soon if this weather ever clears up. I will be hear till the fourth so there is still another two weeks but that will fly by with christmas and such festivities. Anyway, I guess urban would be fun. We were thinking of Vans skatepark but they only allow ds/dj ht mtbs when the crowd is not too large. Anyway have a happy holidy.

Got some sun today... but I guess that doesn't mean much. Weather shows that it will rain this entire weekend.

Hmm... let's go 4-wheelin. Or maybe we can find a motox to borrow? :D

Doggie, we should meet up monday for stanford...otherwise DMC Carlmont would be a fun place. We went out there today and the trails/jumps were still rideable for the most part. Anyway, I guess we should decide on a time/place to meet. Oh btw, I talked to Darren at Broken Spoke. Great guy and that frame is pretty nice. Ask him if he wants to join us on Monday if we go. Anyway, gotta get some sleep. Peace, mm
