did norba finally pull its head out of its arse?

so im not entirely sure if i can believe my eyes... but i think that usa cycling has included all major US races on one calendar, and ranked some higher than others in terms of how important they are, and point... ranked category 1 and 2, cat 1 being higher (supposedly similar to road biking schedules)

and guess what, the msc races are cat 1 and the nmbs races are cat 2...:35:

im not at all sure if im right, its hard to believe that norba did something this right? can anyone back me up? and please please please dont tell me that cat 2 is actually higher and im just bass ackwards...

Downhill racing is not an extreme sport.

unless youre into that sorta thing...

dont thank norba, cuz actually norba doesnt exist.... This was all usa cycling doings. Norba is dead. Blue wolfe the people that use to host the norbas now will host the same races but they are just called the NMBS and are cat 2. This doesnt mean you can go to all the mscs and still beat out somebody for a worlds spot as a junior. They will take into consideration on how tough the competition when they decide. I like what they did but it obviously will have lots of problems when it comes to top riders and worlds selection. People will be doing different races and all claiming they should be ranked higher and should be on the worlds team. They will have to look at every race to see who was racing against the most competative competition. Sure maybe a MSC has more people racing, but is the quality of the people racing as high. This is what we will have to wait and see.
