You sir, suck. :09: :35:

I might be visiting in a couple of weeks, a friend's there now. :D

As for me, well, to copy a message..

(F/T the next few weeks with the owner at the 2009 SBC Camp out in CO, and then the August buy-ins and trade show the next month, busy, busy s*!t here, all sorts of riders coming out of the woodwork, half with brand new bikes covered in 15 years of dust. ;) )

Man, where did all our downtime go the last couple of years, I expected a percentage growth, but this is way more than expected, a great time to be in the bike industry in my opinion.

I got a "sort-of" vacation, as in a few days away from work, drove out, did some camping, fishing, and riding, alla bove the smoke level.

Only sort of pics I got, mostly due to the heavy smoke the last few days with the Gilroy fire are like this, a "Im so pimp..." rather than any ride shot stuff, playing around with color settings and camera options brought some cool results, as for riding, there's always the possibility of dragging Ivan out soon.

Went to Northstar for the race this past weekend. The course was straight up awesomness. It ran down Boondocks but they had cleared up a lot of free ride stuff so it was super fast and racy. They added landings to drops/jumps and made room for handle bars. Props to the workers! I was sick but still had a great time of course!

I gotta get to Northstar. How does the dirt jump park the made look(if they made it?).

Tasso, i am envious of you living in CO and being able to ride Sol Vista, i hear it super gnarly.

As for me, mostly BMX racing. I would be doing more MTB/riding racing if i had a car. :tired:

happy summer!

The jumps at Northstar are not finished. Cam Zink said probably in another 2 weeks. If I remember correctly there will be 3 different sized packs in the trees. They were bringing in truckloads of dirt each day I was there.

Northstar is totally worth it. I got in 30-40 miles of dh riding each day I rode there. Screw pushing. Ride a chairlift, ride bike down, get back on the chairlift. It is so rad. Rode pretty much every trail once and then did a whole mess of runs on Livewire and some on Boondocks among others.

I will be back at Northstar at the end of August and then to the ABA nationals in Reno.

i wouldnt call sol vista gnarly... its just got a couple jumps... its mostly just pinned as hell and super fun... but its starting to get a lil full of itself

vail on the other hand... you never see another dher, and there are 2 world cup caliber tracks (one of which is an old worlds course), not to mention tons of other dh trails, and it costs me 11 bucks...
