Grip Choice?

Which grips do you guys use for BMX/DJ? I'm looking for something without lock ons, fairly cheap (15 or less) and something that is comfortable/thin. Any favorites from Danscomp.com ?

Odyssey Gary Young's. Awesome grips. Super soft and sticky.

I have two recommendations for BMX grips. I have used the Animals on my bmx cruiser and just installed the Gary Youngs on my 20" (after trying them on Tones bmx). Both are great grips imho. The Animals offer more cushion but lacks the enhanced gripping contour of the Gary Youngs. Both grips are quite well regarded. I remember they sold out of the Animals at Calabasas and one of the guys at the store told me it was one of the most popular grips they carry.

1. ODYSSEY GARY YOUNG GRIPS (fatter palm area)
Made from soft krayton rubber for great grip and wear. These grips are designed by Gary Young to meet his own specifications. Sold in Pairs (135mm long)

2. ANIMAL EDWIN GRIPS (multi-cross directional grip)
Soft and comfortable krayton rubber grip with wavy mushroom style patterns. Includes plastic bar ends. Sold in pairs. (140mm long)

Either should be a good choice.

PS. Attched is a screenshot with some Danscomp coupon codes if you are planning to buy from them.

I recently tried SunLine's thinwall lock ons. They were a bit to thin for my hands (XL glove). Also, the lock-on bolt on the end of the grip wasn't fully recessed below the grip surface.

Ohh I like those Animals. The Gary Young's look funky, I've never been a fan of the ring style grip pattern, so I think I'll go with the Animals (and they come in a redish color to match my new dj ride).

BTW, thanks for the coupons Ivan!
