I've only ridden SHR DS. But of the various renditions of the top section, I enjoyed the course when the start hill faced West, took a righty berm into a step up, followed by some flat sections into a small step up table. That was a nice change.

I had a chance to roll down the Sea Otter Slalom course in the past and thought that was pretty fun. Too bad the CSM course is now RIP -- never got to master it, very tight and technical. I also like the loose Parkfield slalom [5 years ago]. I never flowed well on the SHR DS course for some reason though.

The Parkfield Slalom is still suuuper loose. Especially this past season's course. We added a true dual track course which required a ton of dirt moving that never got packed to well. Next year should be a lot better but still loose as always.

I've only ridden the Parkfield course, the UCSB course at Firestone and Pomona's course in Fontana. Out of those three, I like the Parkfield course the best since it's really turny and draws a ton of spectators and kegs. :biglaugh:

Tons of fun!

Where is the parkfield course.

My favorites would have to be Sandhill and Deervalley. I have yet to enjoy SeaoTTer, though it could be workse, because I feel as though it really is designed for full suspension.

I wish people built more little slalom courses, they really are easy to build, especially single track ones...I am working on right now.
