Intense 6.6 SS

I was wondering if anyone had one of these. I am looking at a 2007 6.6 SS frame and I am planning on using it for DH/Trail...

a) Is this what this bike is good for, I know it says SS , but still....

b) I know must people put singles on it, I probably would too, is it possible to run a double on it?

I was soooo tempted to get one of these, but I got a new truck instead. What's the point of having 3 awesome bikes and no vehicle to transport to the fun riding areas? I'd rather have 1 dj rig and a nice truck. The rear comes in 150 and 135. I haven't seen it on ChainLove in weeks.
