Maguar Clara is 160mm front and rear. Just guessing but... Magura did not design Clara to be used in conjunction with a 8" rotor.

Word of caution: The higher heat produced by 8-inch disc brake setup MAY lead to premature failure of your Clara disc brake system. DO NOT RUN 8" rotor with the Clara.

If you need the power of an 8" disc setup, use a caliper designed for 8" rotors and adapters.

Examples:
Hayes HD series - HFX-9, HFX-Mag, HMX-1, MX-1 (2004) and MX-2 (2004). All "HD" designated Hayes systems come with 8" rotors.
Magura GustavM in 210mm front, 190 rear.
Avid BBDB and Juicy 203mm front/rear.
Hope M4.
