here are the detailed steps:
- again, For oil, I use RockOil. You should measure the amount from the top of the stanchions when fully compressed instead of measuring by volume. 01 and 02 Boxxers take different amounts. Straight walls use 110-120mm height or you will lose travel (02 forks), Taper wall use 90-100mm (01 forks)
- 20wt in the Rebound and 10wt in the Compression is what I use. just make sure that you cycle each upper tubes in order to completely drain the old oil.
- maker sure all your bits and parts are clean
- new oil, when installing the new blood make sure you cycle the upper tubes 20-30 times in order to get the oil to fill the valves.
- let a fork sit a little bit to let the oil settle.
- Install the springs. Completely top out the fork, use preload spaces if needed and then install the top caps.
