I've got A-frames... they came on my bruiser, used, with a few pins missing and a considerable amount of time spent on them.

They grip really well, but they aren't so grabby that you can't pull your feet of your pedals when you need to. On my hardtail, I don't manage to get bucked off them very easily. My bearings are currently dead, but as far as I know the bearings have at least two years of harsh riding on them. I've smacked them against rocks and such, and have not managed to take more pins out than were missing before. When I got the pedals, though, the bearings were still good and spun very well. There has been no bendage after cases, drops to flat, and that little roof drop I did. Overall, I'd reccomend these pedals as an overall great product. It would make a good race flat as well as a freeride platform pedal. The only downside that I can see is the price, but in my opinion, they're worth it.

Holy crip it's a crapple!

ok good because i just ordered a pair for 50$ off pricepoint.com , 50$ doesn't seem that bad for a really good pedal.

i ride clipless 90% of the time, but when I dont I have a set of Azonic A-frames. Like grandes, I got em used and theyve taken about 4 years of abuse. Still spin good too, not too many pins missing. I personally like Eastons, but they can be very hard to get off of. The Azonics grip almost as well and are easier to move around with.

ridin' faded for life
