Specific MRP on 2001 DHi

Hi all. My Mrp is having some problems on the trails. If I coast and hit a bump and then pedal again the chain gets thrown inbetween the chianring and the inner bashplate. I think this happens because the spacing is too big on that side, leaving more than enough room for the chain to end up there. How do I make that space smaller? READ ON please... Keep in mind that this is a specifically made mrp for the frame. It pivots around the bb. So besides that difference from the normal mrps, this one's inner bashplate is unable to be adjusted farther in and out. I think the problem is that the top roller is a solid cylinder shape, without the normal grooves for the chian, like most rollers have. Whats YOUR opinion? :31:

I can maybe get pics of this badboy if anyone needs/wants them.

I dont think the top roller will help the slightest bit.... My friend with the GT DHi Race also has that same roller and mrp and his works fine... I think

I'll take a look at it next time i see it (tomorrow) and tell you. Maybe you have the wrong size BB so your crank arm is too far out

Haha, I'm gonna say haha after everything I say. haha
This is so amusing. haha

Looks like it. Only thing is that mine has short bar thing that goes from the top of the mrp to frame, to hold it to the mainframe when the swingarm moves. Yours might have it too, but i dont see it.

That derailer hanger looks like a DHi's....
EDIT:ha, I just saw the DHi in the background. Do you have one MM?

When my DHi Came from the factory it had improper spacing. add some small spacers to the inside plate so there is no room for the chain to fall in. its not the top roller. keep an eye on your rear triangle

My website is pretty lame. Dont click on it.

Alright, thanks super J. I'll try putting some spacers in there.

Why should I watch the rear triangle? Did you break yours?
