Tip: If your disc brakes don't seem to be working right...

..and they are aligned properly, bled properly, etc. I think I had a disc or some pads that got crap on them. Maybe we used some dirty rags while we were at your house Nick? Who knows. It was after that when my brakes started to not work as well.
Anyhow, I've tried alot of stuff. Baking the pads, isypropl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), and the latest one I used was just good ol brake cleaner that you use for cars. There are two kinds, chlorinated and non-chlorinated. I got non-chlorinated, but I'm not sure what either one is used for. I put some clean rags between the disc and the wheel, then sprayed the disc some and sprayed some into the caliper and pads. Let it dry for a day, and then I rode it today. Damn rear brake locked up on me and I laid down a huge patch of rubber not expecting it to work so well. Before it would take a second or so before the brake started to slow me down, but I think it locks up alot easier now. I haven't tried it much since it's been raining, but I think this finally did the trick.
The can was cheap too, and you can probably use it forever. It was like 3-4 bucks from Kragens, and you really don't use that much when you spray down your junk.
Just thought I would share somethin that worked for me with you all. I'm horrible with keepin those discs clean, especially when tryin to lube the chain.
