Romic Set up ?'s

Hi. I have a 2" stroke Romic on a 5" travel bike. I have a general idea of how to set up my Romic but had a couple specific questions. I have the sag set correctly for my weight. I ride XC with some technical stuff once in a while. I was wondering how people like to set up their Romics. I have my rebound six clicks out (from full in) and that seems to be working pretty well but I'm not sure about the compression adjustment. Does the compression knob change the "platform" of the shock or does it slow the compression down throughout the entire stroke?

What is a good starting point for the compression adjustment? About midway? I've been riding with it 3 clicks in (from full out). There is quite a bit of movement in the shock while standing though. Will turning the compression knob in increase the harshness? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

XC boy
