Fox rear shock 'Topping out'

My rear shock (fox vanilla rc) is 'topping out.' After I compress and let off, the shock expands (thank god), and then tops out. I can feel the shock expanding, then all of a sudden stopping and hitting something. There is also a minor noise, a quiet 'clunk.' Any advice besides sending it in, or getting a new one? Thanks.

Your rebound may be too fast or you may need more nitrogen (not sure about that though)

How fast is your rebound set? (red dial)

Haha, I'm gonna say haha after everything I say. haha
This is so amusing. haha

I was chattin with Crash and he said to take it to a motorcross shop and ask them to fill up the nitro. Sounds crazy to me but who knows? I was wondering what others thought of the idea. (While we're at it, does anyone know how much this would cost?)

my risse trixxy's were doing that for a little, all i did was turn down the rebound (slow down) a few notches. that seemed to take care of it.
