Best way to remove decals?

So I cracked my old BigHit frame and I'm getting a new one on crash replacement, which will be sweet in terms of more travel, newer bike, et cetera. However, they're giving me the black one with the flaming stickers that I'm not too big a fan of. So how do I get them off? I've heard of using a blowdryer...is that the best way to go about it, or are there other options? I want the least residue and marks as possible...suggestions?

as long as it isnt under the clear coat... just get an edge and pull slowly at a 90* angle with the frame. If any residue is left over, use rubbing alcohol and it should take it right off.

If you do it right though, there shouldnt be any residue left.

I'm all for using the blow-dryer. I used that to get the decals off of my hardtail. It will peel right off if you heat it first. It will leave a little bit of residue though, but nothing a little bit of goo-gone cant fix.

I have a 05 Bighit and the stickers just pulled off using my fingernails. They didnt take up any paint or leave any gunk.

i pulled em off my 04 easy enough, but if that doesn't work, pour lighter fluid onto a rag and rub it into the sticker, it'll peel right off.

It turns out that the red flames look sick with my red Boxxer crown, so I think I'm going to keep the stickers on, at least for now. Thanks for the advice, though!

Definately use a blow dryer to remove any stickers. They can pull your paint off if u don't. So use ur blow dryer and don't be a stoop.

I also have a green camo DJ seat that I wanna swap out with my black one on my hardtail down there so I can keep the black and red BigHit theme goin'.

Alright.
I know how you feel though... my rear shock (5th element air) has been gone for 3 weeks so far (at progressive suspension) and they expect it to be another 3-4 weeks because it got so ****ed that they dont even have the parts to fix it. I think I will call back in a couple of days and try to get them to give me a new shock.
