chain guide

I'm looking to buy a chainguide for my giant warp ds. The only problem is I'd need new cranks and bottom bracket cus mine are the weird kind where the bottom bracket is like square. Im not sure what to get if I should buy a crankset with a bashguard and then get a box guide or something like that or just buy a crankset and bb and then get a chain guide. I basically ride everything with my bike, dirt jumps, downhill, etc.

I dont really think i want a mrp chain guide because i have a friend who has one bike with an ethirteen guide and another bike with an mrp and he likes the ethirteen mucmuch better it is way smoother and quieter. i dont know whether to get cranks and bb that come with a bashguard and then get a box guide or to get a normal chain guide.

E-13 beats the crap out of MRP, get one over a MRP...
quieter, less dropped chains, cooler looking, stronger, the list goes on and on...
can't talk about gamut because i have never ridden one, but the plates on

MRP's bend fairly easily while E-13's are made out of Lexan and are almost indestrucable...
