shock setup tips?

i just got a heckler with a fox float air shock
my problem is i can just barley hop a curb
do i need a faster rebound?
ive only had a hardtail till now so i have no idea how to set this up
i just put in the psi recomended on santa curz site
anyone got any tips?

I have that shock on my enduro. It is a little easier to jump up things with the rebound on fast. Just turn that little red knob. i have the shock pumped up with way more psi than is reccomended for my weight, because it bottoms out on drops otherwise.
