Clipless pedals for mountaincross

What are the best clipless pedals for mountaincross. I am looking for a pedal with a good body so I can ride unclipped if i have to. I was looking at the Mallet C's. Any suggestions?

and i would think that they are sealed bearings on the M's. I use the C's as well, super sweet setup, and you can glide in and out, especially when you want to!

Nathan Rennie rides flats.. He counts as 3 and a half people..

But Mallets are dope.. It really doesn't matter if you get the C's or M's..

The pedals are at the bottom of the bike so it could actually keep your center of gravity more solid because of the low weight if you got the C's

Getting the M's would just make the overall weight of the bike lighter..

In the end, get whatever is cheep..

For mountain-cross you probably want clipless. I know Chris Powell rips it up on the Shimano platform clipless pedals. I'm pretty sure he isn't sponsored to ride on them so they seem to be his personal choice. I was at the Willingen 4x race and I can say with almost 100% certainty, if Powell hadn't been crashed out by whoever it was that rammed his rear tire, he would have dominated that race. His little final finish seemed to be nearly 4 seconds faster than the others. To be honest, I don't know much about mountain-cross. All I know is Chris P., and I think he knows what he's doing when it comes to mountain-x, and he rides clipless.
...and yes I am biased in favor of Powell.
