I Need Help! Quick Please!

Hey,
A few months ago I bought a Kona Colier. I like the bike alot, except the fork. The fork has no adjustments, and sadly after i got the bike a got into downhill alot more. The current fork is not the right fork for my style. I found a $300 06 Marzocchi Drop Off Triple on Ebay. This has 170mm of suspension while my current fork has only 150mm. The Colier has a 67.5 degress head angle and a 71.5 degress head angle. Will this fork work on my bike and is it worth it?
The acution ends in three days so help as soon as possible would be nice

Seems like too much mula for a bottom of the line dual crown fork. I paid 300 for my 2004 Boxxer World Cup and that was more than a year ago. I know its an '06 but I'd either look for something older and better or save money and get something newer and better.

re dh fork

i would definately not get the drop off triple. It has no adjustments and is terrible for downhill because it does not absorb any studder bumps. If you want a good downhill fork you sould invest in an older boxxer, 888 or 66. In the long run you will be happier even though it might cost a little bit more. the difference in perfornace between a drop of triple and a boxxer or 66 or 888 is like night and day.

You know, I sold my Drop Off for $250. They dont get a lot of money. However...dude you guys Ill be honest, that was a pretty sweet fork. The no adjustments might suck if it isnt already matched for you. However out of the box my Drop Off Triple worked suprisingly well and was matched for my weight. It felt like total crap on the floor and around the street, but once it got warmed up...hey it was pretty sweet. Only thing I noticed was that it does not have a lot of high speed compression so into corners it dives.

Also, I swore it weighed a ton! Steel steerer and everything. However, the fork weighs 7.5 pounds. Less then a Triple 8. But yah, you can find a used Boxxer in good condition for $250-$300. Hell, I have a Boxxer for sale for $200 and it has the blackbox internals and titanium springs and a brand new 06 flat crown!! Unless you must have a new fork, yeah get a used fork.

ridin' faded for life
