Fork Lowerage

So i figured out how to lower a zokey DJ. as you know i have a 150mm DJ2 on my hardtail w/24's. soooo... after taking apart a broken dj3 and my big dj2. i frankend them togather. after taking both forks NEATLY apart. i took the topout springs out. cut the compression springs on the broken dj3 to about 3 inches and used these short pieces as the new topout springs. put the dj3 lowers on my dj2 uppers since they are qr lowers and thats what i want. and viola i have like a 80-90mm o travel. i adjusted the rebound a bit and it works!!!!! ill put up some pics up in a bit.and if and when it breaks whatever its not the end of the world.
