My vote goes to shimano, because I have beaten up my xt derailur for the last 2 years and it still works. It pisses me off sometimes, but it does the job. I prefer the sram thumb shifters, but don't feel like spending the money to switch.

Yeah. So now its basically a Sram derailluer but with a 1:1 ratio, which I prefer.

i am to cheap to get sram but it ended up costing more money sticking to shimano because i have broken off my shimano deore derailleur 3 times in less than 6 monthes
