I am buying a new front wheel since I made my Atomic DHR start to crack after less than 10 days of riding.
I am buying a Snipes Mag Wheel. My question is to go 26" or 24"
I have a rear 24" and this is for the front
also please specify why

I think that having a 24 inch on the front is really drastic. It changes a lot of things, and very few people do it. Unless you're a pure big drop hucker, then I wouldn't recommend it. Some dirt jumpers do it, but not many, and even less street riders. There's pretty much no reason why you should do it, unless you're extremely concerned about strength, because it just changes geometry for the worse.
And there's my two cents :p

Actually 24's have LESS stability. They're more squirelly in high speeds, which is kind of negligible in the back cuz your rear end can slide around a bit, but the front should be pretty steady, otherwise it begins to get sketch mighty fast. Unless you nose huge drops or nose case dirt jumps I'd stay away from it...there's plenty of 26" wheels that are really strong. The way I see it so far there's almost no reason why you should have a 24 on the front.
Also, the tire selection goes way down, and it doesn't roll over obstacles as well (not to mention a smaller contact patch with the ground).

Alot of Big Hit riders that I've talked to have complained about the 24" in the rear gettin squirrely.. not enough to totally throw them off, but enough to let them know or bother them. So... what mtbfreerider said ;)

my coment is that it is bent but not cracked :)
get 24 for slalom and urban etc but 26 for northstar because with dual 24's at N* you'll die
the choice is yours i guess
