Word. My friends in HS made ordinary stuff like clocks, shelves, and maybe a chess set. At least at Poly my roommate made some nice speakers w/ all the electronics, and there were classes where people made recumbants.
At least my HS had/has an auto shop w/ 2 lifts and 3 bays.
