Whoa, rich.. is that the obstacle directly in plain view? Last time I was out there, there was no way to get on it (I think) unless you walked your bike up, then plunked onto it. Is it finished? I thought they were going to do the opposite and tear it down.

yeah, i thought it was the one that they were chatting about on RM. I had to walk up the two poles that lead up to it and set up on top. It's reasonably long with a spot for teeter-totter and it's right off the main trail. We didn't see the log ride that's in the other Montara gallery. The RM peeps described it as being right off the trail, in the poison oak, using full bolts and screws. I didn't see the poison oak, but it did look well built...
