Hello,

Long time no here for the Dog. Lots to tell but I came
here to let ALL of you know how much I LOVE my new
03 XT 8" DH Front Shimy. I have ran Hayes,Hope, and now
Shimy{Front Only on the Shimy}. Reason being I would have to get a new Brake Therapy for a Shimy,as they are Brake
specific. I ran Hayes when I bought it,so Hayes it is
for now. The Big chunk of CNC Al. on the Dropout is what is custom to the Brake in the picture. It is a direct mount,
no adapters. So I cant buy a Shimy and put it on the current
Brake Therapy. It ill never worrrrrrk. Moo Money. A buck
fidy just for the Brake Thereapy, then another 150 on the
brake. So 300 Dollars just to run a Shimy rear on my 8.

Anyway, I put it on just before N* last weekend. No break In. First run was interesting to say the least. After the first run,she only got better. I have never been soooo Happy in my bike life.
I cant tell you what I like most anymore? The Avy,the Monstor,
the Brake Therapy? These upgrades have Changed my whole
outlook on the Super 8. Running two different brakes did not
bother me as the Brake Therapy makes the Hayes feel even
Stronger. Reason being the rear end is grabbing the earth, not pinging off of it due to the Brake Therapy.

I can bleed Hayes and Hopes by myself no probs, but the Shimy
I due with my partner. It's a little tricky, but no biggie if you have
a buddie. I find it to hard to due by myself, not that it cant be done, but not me. Also, the 03 comes with it's own brake adapter,
first year ever for Shimy. Normally one with have to go with a GRC
adapter running a Shimy. However,we still had to shim it out 4mm on my Monstor, using Sullys GRC shims, which we had to grind down.{God Bless Sulley and his shims} If you ran a Manapoo it would line up no problem according to Shimy Techs at N*. I dont know about Fox Forks? So I leave you with that. Sick Ass Brake if you ask me. Best I have ever ran. I dont care what anyone has
to say.

Last,I had to return my MRP Bones as they would not work. I tried in Vain, but no go. In the picture I am putting the Race Face
back on. I am beat up and resting now. Peace people,I'm out.
