Oh balls that is SIIIIIIIICKK!!! Wow. Got a few questions for ya:
* What rims?
* What kind of coating on the stanchions?
* Is that a custom crown on the Boxxer? Doesn't look like any I've seen...
* May I suggest a nice comfy seat and not a European spandex racer one?

Mavic D3.1 UST rims
Stanchions are Slippery Silver (they are WC Boxxers)
the crown is Romic
I'm sorry, but Selle Italia ARE the most comfortable seats.

any idea on the retail for those Acadian? I can get one custom made, curious if its cheaper to just go buy one. Im sick of knocking my stem out of alignment.

No I meant the lower crown...it looks like a different color. I dunno, could be the lighting in the shot. Same with the stanchions...I know about Ti Nitride and Slippery Silver, but in the second shot they look really black.

The crown by itself is like $150 and I think this one is close to $200...not sure tho, I've had it for a while.
mtbfreerider182: That's a 99 lower crown...thus the pewter color

I have two thoughts. First,how does she ride when your saddle is that High? I have been raising my saddle as time goes by myself. Second,you opted not to get the Brake Arm? How come? Sweet ride Luc. I'm out.

hahah...I'm surprised nobody asked me about the saddle before now ;) Everyone that jumps on my bike is like "holy crap, how do you ride with your saddle this high?" Well, like anything else you get used to it! I NEVER used to ride with the saddle this high, until this year I decided to jack it up and keep it that way...it felt strange for the fist few rides, then it became natural. Just more efficient when it comes to pedaling and believe it or not it never gets in the way!
I didn't get the floater because I didn't feel it was required. It’s only efficient in the last 3" of travel..and if you use your brakes at that time, you got bigger problems ;)
Thanks for the props bro!! I love her!! :D

you know,it's funny,but I am feeling better with the saddle a little higher. Not for Jumps,but for Bombs Away and even drops. When the Saddle is higher,I find that my Lower Body does not drop as low/deep to the ground. IE,I dont come down as hard on the saddle. But what do I know? I am still playing with the whole idea and that what it's all about. On the Brake Arm,it's Best you did not get it. It aint Brake Therapy. You wont get the tight tolerance on the bearings. Why SC did not go with BT I'll never know. Marketing is the bottom line though. Peace.

As for putting the seat up, I must admit I lifted my BMX seat up a bit on my BigHit when I raced Canadian National Championships this summer. I think it helped me quite a bit; I pedaled a lot easier in a lot more sections, but could still do all the drops (including the 9 footer at the end).
