She's a thing of beauty, my friend. My 8 can only aspire to be what yours has become...
When I get back we should have a "family" ride of sorts.
PS: My Aussie friend has an 8 and he was goin on about making new dropouts in case the derailleur hanger assembly breaks...any thoughts on how this could be done, in case I need a backup?
Keep 'er buildin'....

Ready for the Cranks. On the Second Shot,if you look at the bottom
Rollor, you can see that I have to take off the Rear Wheel to tighten
the Allen's. Bummer, but there is nothing you can do,you must Lace it
Up and mark your roller position, then take the rear wheel off just to
tighten the bottom rollor. Anyway, did some other work while she was
apart,peace.

I thought it was not going to work. I got the Max Length
off those Stanchions. Slam it down and Give yourself 3mm or
a Nickle. All is well,I just wish the HeadTube was shorter.
There by sliding my Lower Crown up Higher. Peace.

Well, the Super 8 is getting a new rear wheel. Arrow 24" with Wheelsmith
14 Gauge Black Spokes and Brass Nipples. The 24" Sun I think,is free to whom ever wants it. I'll cut the spokes and it's yours. I never did get a for sure read on what rim it is? IE,it's a SC DH Build Kit. I hope to put on my Saint Brakes as well.
The Hardtail I pulled the 6" Mr.T and put back the 4 Banger.
Not that I have ridden enough to type. I must be a poser.
Anyway, next shot should be pretty. Carry on.

down. 04 Z1 Black,Gold King coming on Tuesday. I told you
I would build her. Running HookWorms. Check the DropOut.
Easy Tiger,Easy. Worked on My Boys Arrow. New Shifters,Seat.
He Destroyed his RF N.Shore Cranks by not checking his Peadal. It came
loose and stripped it Raw. Those are my Old School XT's Square Taper

out of Luck Now. You want um back? Better start savin. Peace.

I am going to take some measurements on the 8 before I
switch the wheels. Just to know. Here is two quick shots
I took. Mind you,I am right next to it,so it's not really a good
shot. First shot is on Top Of,second is As level as I could get.
26" is a Intense 2.35,and the 24 is a 3 0. Oh,the 24" is sitting
on a Power Bar and my DHRing Boomerang to make it level with
the Axel. Kenny at Mikes built me Pure Hatred. Peace.

The Saints with the new Wheel. I ran a different route
on the Front Hydro Line. The Saints have a different Angel
to them. I also had to put back on my Old Brake Therapy
Arm. IE,Top Mount. Everything went well on the Install.
I ordered the Shimy Front Mazi 20mm Adapter for this
setup. This one will work, but it's got Sullys spacers in
there to space it out. The Right Adatper will bolt right
up with No spacers,Proper. The Rear is extremely Tight,
I have a slight Drag, but just like my my Old Hayes,I bet it
will settle in after a few Rides. New Handles and Lines.
Here we go. Oh,we tried to put my 24" 3" Gazzi on my
Partners Bullit. No go,the tire was too FAT. Talk about a waste
of Time,that pissed me off.

A 3 inch tire on any bike is too fat! Too much rubber, not needed.
Glad to see your bike is still lookin' mighty fine, though. The Saints look good.

lighten things up. :09: Dude, the Monstor on the Tazer would be
sick. If you knew me,that last sentence would be Funny. I dont
say Dude. I will post a shot soon of my buddies GT Hardtail. I did
a FULL Drivetrain and new seat. Back to the Shed. That's why the
8 is outside. I'm out.
