What's the chainstay protector made out of? I found that a road tire works best.

Is that a Therapy Components brake arm or a different brand?

Is the hub an oversized bolt on hub?

Nice bikes....

Haha, I'm gonna say haha after everything I say. haha
This is so amusing. haha

Boy,

You are full of questions bro.

The chainstay Protector is the same Rubber as my Hydro
Lines only Fatter. My Riding Partner get's them for me. A tube
would be fine, only it's more of a Pain to wrap with the swingarm. My old one was clear,I like the black much better. However, the Clear was thicker, which leads me to belive that it will last longer than this Black one. Time will tell.

That there is a Therapy Component, the Real Deal.

I just got my New Rear {Big Gun Metal Grey Peice}
for my Rear Shimy Brake. Side Mount. That one in the picture is
a Top Mount. I cant wait to have DUAL Shimy's,Heaven Babe.

The Hub is a Hadley. 12mm Axel slides through the hub and threads in on the other side.

I just bought a used 24" Hadley Hub for back up. I only wanted the Hub,but got a SingleTrack and Intense 3.0 Tire as well. You cant find these hubs,if you do, your lucky or paying a Mint. I will probally give the rim away and build another Arrow. However,I am not sure what rim it is? It looks like a SingleTrack, but no markings on her? She was built at Santa Cruz, and other than some nicks on the rim from Rocks,is Mint.

I'm out.

The Front,

well here I have to Shim the Caliper 5mm's on both Bolts. I use Sulley's Shims, {GRC} My Partner will make me a plate coming up here real soon. You cant see what I am saying from this shot. I'll post another shot later. It's a pain, but in the end worth it. Still need to bleed and attach the hose as you can see. Front is Cake compared to the Rear. I'm out.

Phil disc hub. Yummy and then some...

Post review of the Phil hub. Have you used Hadley, American Classic, or Chris King freehub? How does each compare to your Phil?

I am looking for a quality disc freehub. Shimano XT disc hub not up to par...

The Shim Shot.

You can see Sulley's 5mm Sliver Spacer. I only ground them down it a little.
Sorry the first shot did not take.

The Phils,

Wu,lots to say on them. First off I too wanted a High End Set of Hubs. It's was Phil's,King's,and Hadley's on my list. Ringle being 4th on that list.

I have had them for well over a year and have 0 complaints so far. The Allen Bolt's on the Rear Cost me a extra 25 Bucks I think it was instead of a QR. I knew my Frame was going to have the Ritchey Drop outs so that was a no brainer. Your talking big bucks,so whats another 25 or so?

Bad:
They dont ingage as fast as a King on Peadal Stroke.

The Front 20mm Hub was a Big Upset regarding the Dust Caps. They are not Fixed like a King say. When you pull out your 20mm Axel the Two Silver cups,{two shots up}will drop to the ground. Again, they are not Fixed. Why is that a Drag? Because when I go to put the wheel Back on,I have to Hold Two cups,1 Axel and Line the Rotor in the Caliper All at the same time. I got it down now and it's not that big of a Deal. But it's two much work for a Simple set up. It's spins Forever and the Cups are Very Clean,so is there Fit on the Hub Body.

Good:

The Bearings,Oh My. :13:
The High Flanges make for a Stout wheel build. :147:
They Spin For Days.
They are quite.
They have given me 0 Problems.
The Engraved "Phil" instead of Laser Etch. Talk about Properness. To me
it's the Final Touch.
They are Very Simple to work on.
Phil is right here in the South Bay,cant beat that.

I have King,Hugi's and Hadleys. Hadleys are Sick. I love um. You Cant go wrong with them or Kings. I just wanted to keep the Money a little closer to home and the Customer Support is a Bonus as well. Anyway,IMHO Phils are Well worth the Money. My wheels are Heavy and Strong. WheelSmith 13 Gauge DH Spokes with Brass nipples. Pro Build. I dont think you could find a Stronger wheelset,Or one that Spins so Nice. :05: I'm out.
