here is my surly instigator with 04 dj3's, ryno lite wheelset, hayes 8" hydraulic disc brake, race face cranks, azonic Aframe pedals, cane creek headset,sette stem, and 2.5 in. WTB tires.

you should have ran your hydro lines through the holes on the frame 
8" rotor gets the job done
