Josef's 2001 DHi with an '02 Shiver, baby

Here is my new (for me) downhill bike. Its a 2001 GT DHi with a 2002 Shiver, 2001 Purple Hayes brakes (thanks to Dog), xtr cranks and bb, xt shifter and derailer, Tioga front rim on a GT hub, Atom lab rear rim on a Hadely thru axle hub. I absolutely LOVE it :07: :D

EDIT: Oh, and the duct tape was an attempt to keep mud and water out of my shifting housing. There isn't any adhesive touching the wire, thanks to my pro duct taping skills.

The Front Hydro Line Looks to short. Mabye if I saw it up close I would have a different opinion? Anyway, moving on.

Your Chain Looks to tight as well. If It were a HardTail I'd say it's perfect.

yeah, im looking for some of those ruber things that cover the points where the cables go into the housing so mud dosnt get in the housing. after my first ride my shifting was wacked... so I resorted to duct tape for a short term solution, it seems to help. The seat is off my elemental, and I'm looking for a cheap DJ style seat for the elemental now.

Screw the chainstay guards. Take an old inner tube and wrap it wherever you need protection. Then just zip tie em down. make sure u got long zip ties or else ull have to waste half an hour like me:).

He does have tubes and zip ties..... the duct tape is to keep dirt and mud out of his cables since he rides trails with me :147:
