Feel free to comment, rate, w/e. Suggestions on upgrades are nice. *keep in mind that the hardtail's getting a new frame, a new seal (sooner or later :09: ), a trailpimp rear wheel, road rear casette, and XTR med. cage rear derailleur for shifting when the time comes.

Jose F I agree. I think you should get the draco trials frame for free because your other frame was sooo late! I want your road bike cuz I want your road bike. I'm not very familiar with road bike wheels, how is your rear laced up? I'm very confused which makes me angry :banghead: . But yeah new frame will be nice and HEAVY to me soo yea. When is the new expected delivery of the frame?

Built the DirtJumper take a look

Well, steven, i'm getting the draco trials frame for less than you, so there's something :09: . The road bike rear wheel was laced by a guy up in the city, the twisted spokes add stiffness and durability when laced correctly, although it makes it harder to true (and a little heavier me thinks). Yes, it's a rare type of lacing, so don't go beating yourself up over it. Draco frame, as it stands, is at 2-3 weeks (maybe less, who knows).

Holy crip it's a crapple!

hahahahahaha, draco and trials. you made a funny. companies can't just 'make' trials bikes. it'll be a long while before they 'perfect' it. even then, they know not too much about trials, so it will probably suck.
what' happened to your trials bike anyway? you quit already!?

Me and steven talked to John (designer for draco) for awhile the other day about trials geometry, looking at the geometries on UCI bikes (koxx long, woodman T-pro, etc.) and looking at the geo's on more street style bikes (echo pure, Px zebdi, etc.), and trying to get a set of geometries that best combine the two. John's ordering up a tubeset to keep the frame light, and he already made a CAD drawing for us to review, with full measurements. Yes, Steven and I are the guinea pigs on the trials frame, but we have discussed and done our best to perfect the geometries of the prototype trials frame. If it sucks, it'll be our own fault, but we, the riders, have contributed our ideas on what the ideal all-round trials frame would be like, and those ideas are what's making this frame. I don't regret giving input on this frame, and I definately don't regret forwarding steven's ideas to John for the design. All in all, when the frame is ready and built up, we'll just have to see if we made the right decisions, and then give input so that future riders can get a better frame.

This is my trials bike, slightly reincarnated as something that I can do more all-round riding on. I can still throw it over to the 22t in front and do some basic trials moves, but in all honesty it wasn't working well enough as a stock bike in the first place. My parts spec needs some work, and in the end I'll have a better freeride frame, and a better trials frame, and this frame will go to a better cause.

Lastly, you need to quit being such a little bitch. Tone down the sarcasm, you're acting too much like all the little bitches on pinkbike. In case you haven't noticed, new companies pop up every now and then, and their frames usually end up being pretty good. Koxx, Evil, ClifCat, Draco even... all of these newer companies build their frames based on the geometries of past companies, mistakes and perfections included. It took years to figure out the ideal headtube angle for, say, cross-country bikes, but now everybody sticks in the 71-72º range and nobody regrets it. New companies use the same basic geometries, with small tweaks to suit the preferences of the riders and companies. With the discussion that I've been having with John over the tweaking of geometries, I seriously doubt that the frame is going to suck so much that it won't ride like a real trials bike. So don't think that you can go insulting the frame that I helped to design, that steven helped to design, that still remains unridden and untested (especially by you), just because it's a first-rime design. Who knows, we may have hit the geometry right on the dot, or we may be off a bit, but god dammit we're gonna get these frames, ride them, and what happens next is up to the geometry gods. But you have no f*cking place telling us that our frames are gonna suck just because it's a first-time design, so f*ck off.

No, I didn't f*cking quit. I'm getting a trials frame, does that mean I already quit trials? God damn andreas, learn to start f*cking encouraging people as opposed to thinking you're the **** just because you dropped a f*cking roof. You talk way too much sh*t, and however much respect I may have for you as a rider, I have none for you as someone to ride with, cuz you have absolutely no clue where you stand in the big picture, or how to be respectful towards others. And instead of being all too quick to come up with some **** to tell me how i'm wrong, actually evaluate what i'm saying and think about it, then come up with a REAL response, and i'll listen to it.

Holy crip it's a crapple!

i didn't read all of your post cuz i don't have tons of time, but you need to get some facts set straight: first off-koxx isn't a new company, they have been around for QUITE a few years. they came out with production models about 3 years back, and have been on the drawing boards since a couple years before then. they had many riders who know what they're talking about come to them. combining BIU and UCI won't work, it just won't. you either have street or UCI, or BIU. you can't combine. PX tried that with the new Tibo Marriut (can't speell his last name) frame, and it's a joke. 1050 wheelbase is too long for street and too short for UCI. it's over built for natural, and too light for hardcore street. no, it doesn't work for the inbetween either, it just tends to suck at both says the word on the street. the woodman t pro sucks for trials btw. andrewt has it, an expert rider from CO, and his trials abilities were EXTREMELY limited by it. it has a negitive drop on the bb!!!! it's about 2 inches lower than the koxx bb.
i wasn't trying to be a dick, but rather saying how you shouldn't get ur hopes up for throwing together a few bikes in a blender, and magically it will come out into the perfect trials machine.
back to bike geometry you should be looking at Koxx XTP, DeSalvo, or Coustellier frames for UCI. for street the Curtis LT frames or BT Raven 4.0's are also nice. if you don't care for my trials expertise then fine, but don't bitch and whine to me when your frame sucks. :tired:
