devinci7: Demo 9 Boxxer WC

I just got this bike yesterday and it's set-up really squishy right now. Gotta mess with the Swinger. I like it so far and I'm going riding today.
So far the parts spec is like this:
2004 Demo 9 DH Frame, medium
2004 Boxxer World Cup
Swinger 6 Way
Front Bombshell wheel on a Profile Hub
Rear Mavic on a Ringle
Sram X0 derailleur and X9 shifter
Maxxis tires
Hayes Brakes
Profile Cranks
and I guess that's it for the important stuff...
I'll try and post a pic if I can resize one.

jus always keep in mind "why is he selling his bike?" sure he geta a new one whenever he wants. Look over every inch of your bike, pros+unlimited bikes= beat the **** out of. so as a precaution i would inspect everything, especially the frame.

don't agree. he is selling it because he is paid to ride the new stuff, by the time he sold this he had his new 06 bikes. why would he keep an 04 around when he can make money off it?

i already sold it, didn't fit well. this thread is pretty old too.

anyway, you're entitled to your opinion, but in my experience that's not true. this bike was in great condition, just because he gets it for free doesn't mean he will beat the **** out of stuff. remember, he's not going to sell you a piece of crap that has a crack in it. it's his name on the bike (literally)
would he want someone badmouthing him around the internet?
no, i don't think so...

yeah, i don't think most pros beat their bikes

Im not saying everyone bashes their bikes, but its not like they wont try some crazy gap or jump or whatever because their bike might not be able to take the abuse. They may not break bikes and components intentionally but there sure is a lot of stress put on those rides, usually more than usual. Ive seen pros snap brand new v10 headtubes off just riding them, and its usually because they rode the bike for too long.Same with KHS and their DH bikes that are sold to the public. those swingarms break like twigs. So im Just saying.
