How do the new Big Hits ride? Seems to have come a long ways since they introduced them with 24" rear wheels. -Ivan

i wouldn't ride the new bighit if i didn't think i could do well on it. with the redesigned frame and 26'' rear wheel, its the sickest bike ever. i chose it over a demo 8, and the demo 8 frame retails for more than the complete bighit. it has the same exact geo. as a demo 8, but the suspension rate is more linear then ramps up. towards the end which equals a more supple ride. the demo is more progessive the whole way thru. which is better for freeriding i guess. the bighit is also a pound lighter, less complicated, u can run a dhx air, squats under braking to keep your body from being thrown forward, so you can keep more in control. pedals better, more nimble, and lots of other reasons. a stock small bighit frame got 5th at mammoth in pro in 2005, and was about 1/2 second of 2nd, what do u think
