I have a 2003 Dorado SC and am thinking of trading it for a 99 Monster T.
I would include: - mint fork
- disc adapters
- hex lock axel
I would receive: - fresh oil and seals
- two minor tears in the stickers
I am going to buy a DC fork anyways and sell my Dorado SC so do you think I should do this?
I might be able to get his 2001 Shiver off of him instead: - great shape
- stanchions are mint

Haha, I'm gonna say haha after everything I say. haha

Hmm I dunno. Personally I think he should throw in some dough for that trade (maybe more dough if he's giving you the Monster as opposed to the Shiver), but I dunno I'm not that good with money.

Well, I know for a fact that he won't give cash also. I am trying for the shiver but i dont know if it will happen.
What about for the monster... is it worth it or should I sell my dorado and pay like 150$ more for an 04 super t?

Considering your weight and size, you should look into one of the lighter DC's (i.e. not a monster). Shiver or Super would be mint for you, if you're ditching the SC altogether then go for a shiver at heaviest.

You should be gettin more for that Monster. 99 Monsters go for 300 or so, depending on shape.

yes, I am. cause its dumb... your bike will be completely out of balance, and unless your some big dude (which im guessing your not) itll be way to much weight for you. The shiver is very close to the Monsters weight by the way.
In my opinion, the most you should ever put on a hardtail is 5". Give me one good reason to put a large DH fork on a hardtail, besides wanting it to look cool. Learn how to ride a smaller fork instead of using the Monster to disguise your roughness and mistakes.

Oh, and that Shiver better be as described.. MINT condition means NO scratches, dents, NOTHING. Basically brand new.

Nice avatar DLo
Anyways, I'm buying a 99 Monster for 250 and keeping the dorado
The reason you would need more than 5" is for a 20 ft drop
