those look like alot of fun. defientelly keep digging. however, it looks as though some of those trees could be in the way...maybe you could cut one down (theyre pretty small) and use the stump as the beginning of a lip or something. AWSOME backyard

ya it started with like 2 jumps, but recently I have had some comitted people helpin me build them, which is what we've been doin over the past 2 weeks. The one trail in pictures 3+4 where the berms are leading, has sweet flow, I have been dialin in the berms, but it's not finished yet. I live in Novato, CA in Marin County. I am about 10 minutes from Infineon Raceway where the Norba race is going to be held and the plan is to have a fat sesh with alot of the gravity pros and anybody else when the race is here. The land is slightly rocky and is a bitch to dig on when it's dry like this, but when it rains it is so prime for building, and if it is dry I have a hose running down there anyways. All you guys can ride this if you head out to the national in May at Infineon!

keep on comin with the feedback!

no thats an optical illusion i guess, we been just buildin the jumps around the trees for now, they havent been too much of a problem.

JskierPX,

I am traveling from Rohnert Park/Santa Rosa down to the Groovy Gravity Games April 3. I am a newbie to dirt jumping but would love to learn. I find that places like Calabazas are too far/too built-up for doubles I would want to try. Do you have jumps suitable for a rider like me?

hmm good question, as of now we have that fat kicker in the middle comparable to some calabasses jumps, about 15 foot gap. the other jumps are all apart of a trail, much like a slalom course but only one lane. the trail flows but it is actually quite tech and takes at least intermediate skill, because all of the jumps are gaps, only around 7-11 feet, but they are jumps out of and into turns. The trail is alot of fun but again, I don't recomend it for beginners. Eventually I will have some peeps put in a kind of beginner trail but for now I'm stoked on building up some sick ass fun fast trail-bike trails.

just keep digging man, from what i've seen and your skill with a shovel it can only get better, just make sure that if you biuld a larger set of jumps to keep that set exclusively big unless you want a slalom feel where you have to pedal or brake into jumps

Its all about style............and hardtails :09:
