Yes I have a boxxer righ tnow, and its a freakin sherman tank. I can drop it to flat or slope or good WFO on it, but its the damping thats the problem. I can abuse the hell outta it, but i want plusher travel. It bottoms all the time, and its killin my wrists. I also want the adjustability of the zocchi forks. I want to be able to stiffen it up for drops, then soften it for trails etc.
I actually have no money right now, but I know that this kinda research takes forever and I have a birthday coming up and all, so... but definatly under 1000 is what ill have to spend.

Downhill racing is not an extreme sport.

unless youre into that sorta thing...

The problem with boxxers is with the 03 and 02 models and no black box upgrade (and i am not talking about drilling a simple hole like mountain bike fiction says because it doesnt work) is they CAVITATE. 2001 and earlier are great. If your going to the otter take your fork to rs as soon as you get there and they will set it up. i have an 03 super t and i will be getting an 04 because the 03 has the boltless lower crown and you cant adjust your head angle. The 04 uses a bolt on crown.

My website is pretty lame. Dont click on it.

If you suck up to Rock Shox enough on the phone, you can probably have them install blackbox for you if u pay 'em. Not totally sure but my friend knew someone there and got his for free. Just a possibility that might be more affordable.

Seriousry, just look up a couple search terms. You'll find what ya need in seconds. It's faster than having us talk to you, and you'll get more information.

hey its john, i just got the 888 as most of you now know
IT IS THE BEST FORK THAT EVER EXISTED,
DONT BOTHER WITH ANYTHING ELSE, just save money and get one, it has the most adjustiblility i have ever seen, it has head angle adjustments for the crowns, its not that tall, and its light. this is all noticable before even breakin it in...
so there u have it, get one

that or a derado...
i know i said i hated them, but then i realized i didn't hate them, i hated donalds derado...
