Hmmm, buy what you want but I had no problems with Manitou cs. Sent me a replacement upper crown in two days. Numbnut builder put too much loctite and over-torqued one of the the allen bolts on the upper crown. Tried the "dremel a slot" for a flat head screwdriver method but the sucker still wouldn't budge. Ended up drilling out the bolt to get the crown off. Oh yeah, I was taking it off to swap headsets.

I have owned an 02 super t, make sure your gettin one in good condition, they are awesome forks but they eventually kind of die, like nothin breaks, but they start to not feel the great, but mine felt fresh with over two race seasons on them(about 2 years). You might just want to get an 03 to be safe...I now own an 04 and its sick as well, anyways just make sure the 02 your gettin is in pretty good condition-

I have seen about 5 seperate rock shox boxxers in the crap hole, some pre 2002 and some new models, just my observations, but I have stayed away from those things for my own good :tired:

Up at Chico State, theres good riding up here- lots of freeride trails and tech stuff in Bidwell Park,,, but theres also 5 private lakes we can water ski at...

ok, now unless somehow i win the lottery or something I am debating between a 2001 manitou x-vert( i aint that Hard core and i really am not going to break it) OR a 2003 Jr. t.
i have been readin reviews on both of them and they seem pretty good. exactly what I am looking for! so does anybody have anything I need to know before i buy one of the 2? is it true that you can only run a 2.5" tire MAX on the jr.t?

for 03 the tyre clearance on the supert isn't great at all. josh's jr t had a 2.1? anyways, there wasn't much room to spare i can say that. just deal with it, the super is far better than an x vert

i'd go with either a slider or a superT. the sliders feel really good with teh TPC+ . And superTs feel just as good and will perform just as well

Its all about style............and hardtails :09:

i just found a really good deal on a 2003 jr. t and the guy is gonna let me pay it off in payments... i dont exactly have enough money for a super t right now, but i think i am going to get the jr.t and then once i get the money i will upgrade and get a super t prolly in a few months. just need to work a bit more to earn that cash. I just am gonna use this so i can actually have a complete bike for now. thanks everyone for your input!
