this is the same post as below it just has more specific rims.
I am building a rear wheel for my 2001 haro DHR frame. it has a d321 laced to a formula disk hub in the front. Now i dont exactly know what hub or rim to get for the rear. was thinking either a a-lab 12mm hub, or a Dimension 12mm hub. something fairly cheap but its gotta be 12mm.

You need to tell us more man. Weight? What you lookin to do with it? Need to take that all into account. And spokes, and build. You can have a really nice rim and a decent hub, but your build can be worthless and it'll fall apart. Just some stuff to think about.
On my karpiel I'm going to eventually end up with the Deemax in the front and a rear 321 with a hadley. On my hardtail I want ringle hubs with 521's, or something light, but enough to take beating since I'm not a smooth rider. Oh, and I hear doublewides are worthless. So throw that option out ;)

thats what i thought about doublewides.... just checkin though.
uhhm, weight. are you talking about what weight i want for the rim or what? ok i really dont care about weight THAT much. i aint picky. its for my new DH bike so w/e is fine. i dont beat my bikes to bad. i aint a HARDcore rider so...
Hub still am not 2 sure about. anything 12mm really. kinda dont wanna spend over $210 for the rear wheel total.

Go with a mavic 321 in the rear.I weigh 225 and have 321s and ive never damaged the rim.Ive broken plenty of spokes but the rims are perfect.

What about an intense Mag 30? they seem pretty indestructable. people say it weighs alot, but I just looked it up and universal says it weighs less than the d321. anybody have any pros/cons about intense mag 30's?

MMMmm Halo SAS I love mine, can't beat a 48 spoke 24, the thing in nearly indestructable, I should know I weigh 260 and I pack on a lot of stairs, curbs, etc... highly, highly recommend them. Still waiting on the front to get here, silly brits they spend too much time watching Mr.Bean and not enough time shipping my wheel :lame: :cussing: :aargh4: people not shipping my wheel :rocketwho

I don't think anyone makes a 12mm 48 spoke hub because the 48 spoke hub he has is also a halo I think......... He got it as a wheelset atleast
