I need rims that will hold up to all of this but are still fairly light.
I have looked at a couple of rims.....
Mavic D521 (now EX721)... 582 g... $39
Sun Rhynolite... 550 g... $30
Sun Singletrack... 590 g... $45
Open to other suggestions....
I'm really leaning towards the D521s right now and MIGHT get a Rhynolite xl double welded or something like that for the front.

rynos laced right will last a long time with a small rider like you, just make sure you keep you spokes nice and evenly tensioned, I didn't and flattened mine :02: but if i had kept my spokes tensioned they woulda lasted longer, but i really do like these rims and for the price you can't beat 'em.

the biggest problem I have with my Rhyno Lite XL's (all black) is getting the damn tire on the rim. I've only had to true my front wheel 2 or 3 times since I had them build 2 years ago. Either I don't ride that hard, or the shop owner that built them did a really good job. I think it's a bit of both. It's on a zocchi' 20mm hub.

PS- that 24" mag 30+xt rear has caught my eye...

I've ridden my D521 front and rear since Mid February. D521 laced to WTB LaserDisc Lite hubs, DT Swiss 14/15 DB stainless steel spokes, brass nips, handbuilt by Omar at Cambria Bicycle Emporium in Rohnert Park. I chose the double butted (DB) spoke over straight gauge (SG) because a DB spoke is better able to flex under heavy loads (such as a hard impact). From what I understand in the section on component selection from Jobst Brandt's The Bicycle Wheel, where a straight gauge spoke may lose a bit of tension under heavy load, the DB spoke will take in that heavy load in the thinner middle section and then rebound back to the proper tension after the load has passed. By the same theory, SG spokes are easier to tension b/c it resists twisting better than DB spokes. Keep in mind, if you have a properly tensioned DB spoke wheel, it will likely require less truing service the same spec'd wheel with SG spokes. I highly recommend an initial investment of DB spokes to reduce the number of future truing required.
So I've Raced DH at GG, and dropped stairs, benches, and tables on campus regularly on these wheels. Current rubber combo is a Kenda Kinetics 2.35 kevlar rear / Nevegal 2.1 kevlar front. Both tires fit on the rim with ease. Used a standard plastic tire lever to unseat kevlar bead. I have not installed wire bead or DH specific tires on the D521 so I cannot comment in this respect if you plan to run DH tires with wire beads. No complaints so far.

Ok, welp.... I think I'll go with the D521 like I was thinking before
Now... I think I'll stick with SG spokes rather than DB because I have a truing stand and if I have to true it a couple times more, it's no biggie. If it's hard to true, I'll get frustrated
