24" wheels or 26" for a balfa minute man?

im getting a balfa minute man frame very soon and i cant decide if i should put dual 24s or dual 26s. can someone please tell me the pros and cons of each one and which they think would go best. Its going to have a 5 in travel fork on it. thanks

Dual 24s
Lower BB (less clearance)
Center of gravity is lower (rail berms easier)
Handling will be different (24" front wheel/tire will steer differently than a 26")
Better acceleration (24" accelerates faster than 26")
Lower top speed (24" has to spin more times for a certain distace so top speed is lower)

Dual 26
More ground clearance
Not as easy to rail berms (not as low BB)
Handling will be more like what you are used to (dual 26)
Higher top speed but harder to accelerate fast

depends on your riding style

It all depends on your riding style, cause if your gonna be doing a lot of drops then go with 26/24 or 24/24, because the 24 is stonger. I used to have a problem with bending rims (good ones- mavics) and when I got my new bike (a Norco Rampage Hardtail) it had a 24" rear and I have yet to put it out of true. I have dropped 6' to flat and no give. So as the other guy said, it's a personal choice, but if you ask me go with 26/24 atomic trailpimps. If you get nice hubs and tighten the spokes occationally, you'll never bend them.

right, it's your bike, so you should decide what you want. if you asked moi what i would get if i owned this bike, and you got those parts, it wouldn't be YOUR bike. it'd be MY ideal bike, but your the one owning it.
depends what type of riding you want to do etc, make the decision yourself, now that you have been given pros and cons. :147:

just tell him what you would reccommend or do and you damn reasons why.

id go with the 26s not just for bb clearance, but rolling over rocks and shiz is slightly easier
