bullit people

i've got a heckler and was thinking of upping to the bullit. i was wondering though if the fact that it doesn't have the replaceable hanger is a problem. the other sc's : free,v10,heck have the replaceable one. if something happens to it you would have to replace the whole arm right. has anyone had any other problems with the bullits? thanks

My friend stripped the threads out. He just had a steel insert stuck in there and its fine now.

If you bent it enough it would be a problem though (since its aluminum itll crack)

I've bent the rear der hanger twice (on 2 different bullits). The damage to the der, chain, freewheel, spokes, rim, etc was much worse than the hanger. The hanger only bent a small amount, and we were able to bend it back into place both times (with the correct tools).

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one because of the solid hanger.

Bullit

Yea, bullits are good freeride bikes, and santa cruz is a pretty reliable company. I have a few friends with bullita and they never have any problems with them.

What? no he didn't. his frame was fine, it was just the der. bolt that was the problem. he always over reacts to everything, and skews his stories.
you don't have to worry about it really, it just improves shifting. just don't be stupid and pedal in the air/as you land.
