If I were you...
I'd buy that bike, then try it out with the rigid. In my opinion rigids build skills and are fun. I ride trials (with a rigid fork) and its awesome to only have the tire pressure as suspension. Runnin the low PSI with fat tires makes everything silent if your smooth :05:. You have way more control and can focus more on techy lines. I did put a small suspension fork on my trials bike for about 30 min. After feeling both, I'd rather have a rigid for street riding. If this is your only bike though, and you'd be riding trails and such then I'd swap forks, or maybe even look at a P1.

this baby is gonna be brakeless!!! lol not really though- but disc aren't needed. i kinda tried her out for a second at minke's in berkeley and the rear V brake works beautifully! one finger stops! I forgot how good v brakes can be! (when they're new and the wheel is trued). Eventually i'll get a disc but that's not an issue for now. (and there are plenty of adapters available and I am pretyy handy with a welding torch if i may say so myself...) right now- get money- spend money- build bike- break weak parts- spend more money- be happy and poor

24inch Cruiser + 3-4inch Travel fork = good times. Been there done that and would do it again. Very fun.

i notice you still have the riser bars on that bike- did that work for ya? wasn't too high? I guess i'll just try it with both (normal MTB and 3-piece risers) and see what feels best.
