How long have you been biking for?

I have been doing it for about 7 years on and off. How about you? On-Road / Off-Road it all counts. Peace, Ivan

it depends what kind of riding..
my dad took me to places like rockville and lime ridge back when i was about 10 on this piece of crap, completely rigid schwinn... he TRIED to get me to roadbike, and we did a couple of tandem rides, but i just hated spandex.

My first race EVER was in about 97 up at shasta.. it was a DH race where i lost my chain with that piece of crap schwinn.

then i raced bmx not too seriously when i was about 12.

Now i'm 16 and i've been racing MTB for about a year. so riding has always been somewhere along the line while i've been growin up.

I've been seriously biking since my freshman year in Highschool when I met Grande. I remember I had an awful fork shudder when I used my front v-brake on my Trek 6000 (worn fork bushings) and everyone told me to ask "Grande" about it. I went to him and he started inviting me on rides and such. I remember I was scared ****less of their huge motorcycle looking bikes and the 4 foot drops they would do. Immediatly I was hooked and blew my savings (which at the time was ment for a dirtbike) on parts for my Trek. Grande got me started in the sport and is always very supportive of me and my riding. It's now my senior year and Im racing competitively in my second year of Jr. X and have one of those motorcycle-looking bikes of my own. :01:
