Need new ISIS Bottom Bracket. Suggestions?

I have an 04 Norco Fuse with Truvative Holzfeller ISIS drive cranks. My bottom bracket has some play and is creaking like crazy and i just repacked it with grease like 80 miles ago (broad estimation). So i need a new one. All the reviews i read of raceface, truvative, and FSA BB's say they are all crap. Should i just get a whole new crankset or what? I've ridden for a long time but have never dealt with cranks/BB before, so i am totally ignorant to what is good. I DO climb, but only to get to the top of a sick downhill that has some hits and drops. basically i freeride, any suggestions would be great

Yeah you should,

the problem with isis drive bbs is that they have small bearing, so they wear alot more. if you have money you should invest in the external bbs for, ex: x-type raceface, the bearings there are larger so it can take more pressure, and from what i a have heard is the hollow spindle makes the cranks stronger. Also I heard that because the bearings are situated outside the frame, it also makes it stronger.

Plus you don't need too many tools to take off the cranks, b/c they come with self extracting bolts.

I use a pair of race face evovle dh cranks myself, I love it, the system is really smooth.

Neva Fear! I am here!

isis bb's have 4 bearings to support the load because they are smaller, theyre just as strong. the outboard bearing bbs are just lighter, and iono what your smokin, but a hollow spindle is definately not any stronger. (although it shouldnt really be a problem unless your really hard on bbs)
