Same geometry as a Demo 8. Same head angle, BB height, wheelbase, top tube, etc. Its still a 4 bar linkage, just like the Demo 8 as well. However the biggest differences are that the rear end squats on corners. When the rear end squats, it lowers the BB and slackens the head angle. Cornering is great, the frame is predictable, and because of the lightweight, its not a handful in the trees either.
As far as jumping...thats a shock setup thing. Does it hit step downs and all that stuff fine? Sure, but I wouldn't go dirt jumping with it. Tracking is good, however its not as good as a Demo. This is the only time you will notice the difference in stiffness between the 2 frames. The big hit's rear end skips sometimes, where the Demo would just slide because there was no give in the rear triangle on a Demo However I run a 10mm thru axle DT hub and it stiffens up the ride considerably. Just a well tensioned wheel helps a lot too.
The bike is just not quite as stable and stiff as the Demo. It is however on the flipside; very light, quick and easy to manuever, and still soaks the big stuff great. I wont be going back.
