shell out for some formulas. if you are really strapped for cash u can get hayes but your gona end up swaping them out anyways so might as well get a good pair. cant go wrong with hope or formula

Avid bb7s are chear, reliable , not to shabby in the modulation dept. and have good stoping power for street and dj, plus you could incorperate a gyro if your into this sort of thing.

I wouldn't recommend a rear disc brake for any kind of trials riding. Most frames do not have strengthened disc mount tabs unless they are a trials specific frame. Without the beefed up tabs you will likely crack/snap your weaker tabs. I've seen it done on a friends bike. It all depends on what frame you have. I also broke a bb7 caliper trials riding. I beleive this was because of the constant rocking backwards and then forwards. If you only apply forward pressure on the disc you should be fine with a bb7. Otherwise you'd want a rim brake. Up front the bb7 is def the best bet and bang for the buck.

P.S. I'm selling my Woodman trials specific bike if anyone is interested... PM me.

Good point....the other thing that happens is snapped rotors. get some avids hayes or shimanos.

My website is pretty lame. Dont click on it.
