How good is a specialized Big Hit for Dirt Jumping

Hi,
I was wondering if specialized big hits are good for dirt jumping? Do they have too much suspension? I was looking at the specialized big hit and kona coiler. Which one do you think would be better?
Thanks.

WTF?:06:

I don't know why one would think that, or that the Big Hits are a new design. They do have the 26" wheel which is new for '06, but it is not a new design.

If you want to dirt jump, get a hardtail.

I know but...

I know that dirt jumping bikes are really hardtails, but I was looking for a full suspension. I was just asking which one would be better for dirt jumping.

it is possible to dirtjump on a bike with suspension like a bighit but it isn't as fun as a bike with less travel, or a hardtail cause its harder to keep speed through lines and they aren't as maneuverable.

definitly eget the colier if you want to jump with it.
My friend got a big hit and I got a colier
I can jump on mine so much easier then he can on his bike.
I have a dual crown and can still do steep doubles on it

Damn. I would buy that SX if it wasn't a small. Think im gonna go for the new heckler though. Good deal! someone pick it up. And you can dj on either of those bikes but the coiler would be better. I used to dj on my bullit w/ dorado's like crazy.
