Help pick a bike for me!

Alright guys so I'm trying to come back to riding and I figured I need to start fresh with a new bike. I'm having a real hard time finding a bike that fits my needs though.

I go to school in Davis and there are pretty much no trails around here.
Last week I found out that there are some sick DJ trails down the street from me though so during the week most of my time will probably be spent there if I'm riding.
On weekends I'll probably make it out to auburn to go ride trails there.
I'd like to be able to race slalom when I can but its not like I'm racing every weekend.
During the summer I'll be riding trails and probably head out to carlmont a few times and ride dj's when I can.

So basically I need a bike that can do everything

I really liked the specialized sx but then again it would suck for climbing when I go trail riding but it would tear it up at the dj's down teh street which I'll be at during the week when I can.

I'm thinking go back to a heckler which is what I used to have a few years ago.
Probably get a Large 07 if i went this way but Id watn to sit on one to see if a medium would be more flickable (I'm 6'0)

Other options:
Turner 5 spot
Commencal Meta 5.5
Specialized Enduro Expert (feels big though)
Yeti AS-R

IMHO, I would look into a Santa Cruz 4x. It can be DJed, ridden on light to moderate DH trails (from my riding experience it feels like a downsized DH bike), and with a 2 chain ring setup up front, combined with the Vpp technology, you'll be able to pedal up the hills and easily do Trail riding.

A lot of the bikes you are currently looking into ca be used in all catigories that you need, but i think each one lacks in a certain Catigories.

The santa Cruz heckler is my second choice, for the same reasons as the 4x. it just depends on if you want sumthing that cam handle more difficult DH trails, with the expense of a slightly heavier frame, and a slight loss in DJ abilities.

I know 2 different people that us either the Heckler or the 4x. and both say that the bike gets the job done in all catigories of riding

dont go Yeti AS-R, go yeti 4x. But the SX would kick ass all around, its one of the best trail/all around bikes on the market. I would almost say go hardtail, if you want to just do DJ and some trail.
