rear hub?

im trying to decide on a rear hub to get for my new wheelset that ill be building(mavic 721 rims). i was thinking about ringle kause its cheap sounds nice etc. but there are countless reviews of it braking after a year or less(wouldnt they have fixed that problem by now if its so big?). anyone have any suggestions for a rear hub that engages nice, sounds nice(loud), and wont completely own the wallet. maybe hadley but is it worth the money?

orrrr if were gonna get into tha range.. hadley 108... all the strength of hadley with all the engagements of king

but frankly a ringle should last you if you maintain it...

or the dt hub... with the fancy engagement system...

Downhill racing is not an extreme sport.

unless youre into that sorta thing...

I currently have all the hubs you guys are talking about.Ive had to replace the prawls several times on 3 different ringle hubs, besides that no problems.Ive had a king for about 5 years, had it rebuilt once when the freewheel mechanism was dragging, honestly kings are nice but not worth the price. The best hub ive used so far has been the hadley,i think i paid around $250 for it and has been trouble free.I will go with hadleys in the future for sure.
